My research lies at the intersection of personality psychology, mental health, and antisocial behavior, with a strong focus on the design, analysis, and validation of psychometric instruments. Over the past years, I have concentrated my research on the following areas:

🧠 Dark Personality Traits and Antisocial Behavior

I study the impact of Dark Triad and Dark Tetrad traits (Machiavellianism, psychopathy, narcissism, and sadism) in various contexts, particularly educational and forensic settings. I explore how these traits relate to phenomena such as peer aggression, intimate partner violence, academic dishonesty, and social manipulation.

📏 Development and Validation of Psychometric Instruments

I have contributed to the creation, adaptation, and validation of several instruments designed to assess constructs such as dark personality traits, moral disengagement, socio-emotional health, perceived motivational climate, and anxiety sensitivity. My methodological approach includes confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), structural equation modeling (SEM), latent profile analysis (LPA), network analysis, and item response theory (IRT).

🧑‍🏫 Socio-emotional Well-being and Educational Climate

From an applied and preventive perspective, I explore how factors such as covitality, positive/negative affect, basic psychological needs satisfaction, and self-determined motivation influence psychological adjustment and academic performance. This line of work includes intervention programs, educational innovation projects, and the development of tools for use in real-world educational contexts.

⚖️ Forensic Psychology and Psychological Harm Assessment

I collaborate as a psychological expert in judicial proceedings involving violence, abuse, custody disputes, and witness credibility assessments. My research in this area aims to enhance the quality of forensic psychological evaluations through evidence-based methodologies and practical tools.
